In 1993, the Company became the 167 companies and enterprises joint venture Japan to-11 which listed its shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Currently the number of shares is 201,066,667 shares with a nominal value of Rp 500/saham.
Activities of the Company started commercial production in 1971 where initially the Company produces hair care products, then developed with producing perfumery and cosmetics. The Company has two factory premises which Sunter factory which specialized in producing cosmetic products throughout the Company while working Cibitung plant to manufacture plastic packaging as well as the logistics center. Plastic packaging shipped from Cibitung to Sunter to be filled and then finished goods shipped back to Cibitung and distributed through logistics center.
Company's main brands include Gatsby, Pixy, and the Pucelle. In addition, the Company also manufactures various other products under the brand Tancho, Mandom, Spalding, Lovillea, Miratone, and also some brands specifically manufactured for export.
Besides domestic market, the Company also exports its products to several countries including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Japan, India, Malaysia, Thailand, and others. Through the UAE, the Company's products re-exported to various countries in Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and others.
Currently, the Company has completed the first phase of the Medium-Term Management Plan 3-Year (MID-1) during the period in 2005-2007 and close it with the achievement of sales amounting to Rp1 trillion. Since 2008 the Company started the Mid-Term Management Plan 3-year second phase (MID-2) which will last until 2010. In MID-2, the Company set a theme of "Enhancing the speed of growth and is targeting a diversified manufacturer of cosmetics" with "women's cosmetics" and "export business" as an important category that will be the focus to be developed. 3-year period for MID-2 is an important period in shaping the foundation to the next target, namely sales of Rp 2 trillion.
